WISAR Women in Science Panel

 

Women in Science at Rice collaborated with the Association for Women in Science – Gulf Coast Houston Chapter, to organize a panel featuring three lovely professional women who share how they overcame gender barriers to gain incredible success in their fields. The speakers comprised the following:

 

1. Dr. Nele Lefeldt, Lecturer in Neuroscience and Biosciences, Rice University; P.h.D., Baylor College of Medicine
2. Dr. Tatiana Fofanova, Co-Founder/CEO of Koda Health, a company that virtually notarizes patient’s legal documents for free
3. Dr. Alyssa Johnston, Oncology Medical Science Liaison at AstraZeneca; Liaison to Industry Chairwoman, Association for Women in Science – Gulf Coast Houston
